SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAM (GRADE 8-10)
Matric Secondary School Program is taught from Grade 8 to 10 at Forward Public School. It is structured for students aged 13-16 years. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) is based on text books and curriculum approved and provided by Department of Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Peshawar. Being the authorized body, BISE Peshawar conducts the annual Matriculation Examination. Monthly tests are conducted regularly as part of assessment. Pre-Board or Detention examination is taken up every year in December/January. Annual examinations are taken in March/April every year. At Forward Public School, we only offer Science Group (Biology or Computer Science) in Secondary School Program. A major chunk of Grade 9 (more than 50%) is covered in Grade 8. The rest of syllabus is covered in first half of Grade 9. The second half of Grade 9 is then dedicated to continuous revision and regular tests. Classes of Grade 10 commences in April and half of syllabus is covered before Summer Vacation. The remaining syllabus is covered by November. In the remaining months up till final exams, revision takes place followed by repeated exams. Timely coverage of syllabi and comprehensive preparation and evaluation has ensured our marvelous results in BISE Matric Exams. Our students have secured positions over the years while we have a record of clinching 100% results with maximum “A*” and “A” Grades in the SSC examination.
